Maricopa Wells Middle School provides inspiring education and leadership in the beautiful, growing community of Maricopa, Arizona. We invite you to visit our campus at 45725 W Honeycutt Ave. We enjoy and welcome guests. You can meet our wonderful staff and even tour our school grounds.

At Maricopa Wells, our dedication to excellence begins with our caring teachers. Each child receives support and guidance to achieve his or her very best. We provide learning opportunities through academics, athletics, clubs, and many other extracurricular activities.

Maricopa Wells parents, volunteers, and community partners also play an important role in educating our kids. We work hard to ensure consistent communication through school newsletters, calendars, student agendas, phone calls, and conferences. By working together for the benefit of our young people, our community is creating a bright future!

Our Mission Statement

It is the mission of MWMS to provide a school where students, parents, and educators share responsibility for quality education, academic excellence, and character. Students will learn to accept responsibility and to be accountable for their choices as they prepare to work and live as positive, contributing members of society.

MWMS community treats each person with respect and tolerance for individual uniqueness. Our school community desires to have a school climate where each person feels safe and secure empowered by the opportunity to learn from mistakes and encouragement to succeed.

MWMS community bases decisions on the needs of the students through data driven instruction. Our hope is to create a school culture where meeting students’ needs and building relationships are prerequisite to learning; the school culture is one of collaboration and ongoing communication to inspire exciting, meaningful, real-life learning.

The Community

We're proud to be a part of the fast-growing city of Maricopa, located just south of Phoenix, Arizona. We appreciate and enjoy the diversity and cultural wealth of our community. Maricopa residents and leaders continue to improve the quality of life and economic prosperity of our city. Our community attracts new businesses, visitors, and industry every month. In 2003, Maricopa incorporated and became the 88th city in Arizona. We adopted a council-manager form of government, and we're rapidly earning a reputation as one of the best places to live in Arizona!
